Easter Egg Deliveries
There has been a kind donation of Easter eggs to the Lode with Longmeadow / Stow-cum-Quy Mutual Aid Group.
Dear Volunteers,
You may have spotted a post on Facebook about Easter egg deliveries. We have been offered a number of Easter eggs as part of the Longmeadow / Quy mutual aid group. Children who would like to have an egg delivered to their door may colour a picture and display it in a street-facing window and they receive an egg delivered to their door on Easter Sunday.
So, we obviously need volunteer Easter bunnies! Are you willing to take a street and deliver eggs on Sunday morning? We’d really appreciate your help.
Danielle Simmons who has arranged this will cover Herrings Close, and I will cover Albert Road and The Square. If you’re able to help, do let Danielle and I know which street(s) you are able to do.
If you can cover a street or area, please send details to info@localjournal.co.uk
Once we’ve sorted out the streets, we will let you know where to collect the eggs. I haven’t really got a specific time in mind but Sunday morning delivery makes sense. Thoughts and suggestions welcome.
Standard social distancing procedures are required, of course. Please stay safe!
All the best,
Emmi
