Oakington Gardening Society

Our meetings are held on the last Tuesday of the moth, at 7.30pm in the Methodist Chapel, Coles Lane. The first meeting this season is on Tuesday September 29th.

John Terry will talk about the work of The Countryside Restoration Trust, based in nearby Barton, and renowned for bringing back wildflowers and wild life to farmland. Other topics this season will include:

One Person's Weed is Another Person's Medicine.

Winter Wonders and December Delights - The Countryside and Winter Festivities.

Snowdrops and Winter Interest Plants.

Pickwick;s Cambridge Scrapbook 1838 - The Gardening Stories.

Climate Change and Associated Planting.

Demonstration - Making up Hanging Baskets and Tubs.

Our plant and cake sale is held at the end of May.
We arrange evening and day trips out.
