New News and Events service for Oakington & Westwick

The Local Journal website is being resurrected
to potentially help get the village Newsletter going again.

There are plans afoot to get the printed version of the Oakington & Westwick Newsletter published again. Perhaps 'afoot' is a little strong, but I am told there will be a meeting soon, possibly even within the next week.

In light of this, and as I still receive newsletter-related information via email, I've set up a new mailing list using the Local Journal website.

Subscribe and add your News and Events

If you're holding any kind of fund-raising, not-for-profit or simply social event, or have any kind of non-commercial news, you can post the details in on www.localjournal.co.uk for inclusion on the website and in the weekly email, and in the printed newsletter as and when production started up again.

Work in progress...

The current Local Journal website is rather new, and it would be useful to have people try to use it and feed back with any issues to do with ease of use, bugs, etc.
