Westwick, Station Cottages 1915 & 2008
This month we have a photo of Westwick from 1915 and another from 2008
Quite a few changes have taken place over the last 93 years. Firstly, although it is hard to see from the photo, there used to be a water pump on the right hand side and of course the bridge was replaced recently. The two nearest cottages in the early photo have been demolished and a single dwelling now sits in their place. The crossing gates are closed and behind the large signal is the gate keeper’s hut.

We have had a number of people interested in a local history society, if you would like to get involved please phone Nick or Sarah Harrison on 237444 or email Nick Harrison via http://www.oakingtonplane.co.uk/
